It isn't a 'New Internet'
Web 2.0 isn't a new Internet. Rather it is a way of allowing the users of systems to own the design, rather than having to go back to a webmaster or a developer to alter things.
Intuitive design and configuration
"Web 2.0" refers to a second generation of web development and web design.
It now typically makes available to managers and administrators (rather than techies) centralised control of communication, information sharing, interoperability, social networking, user-centered design and collaboration on the World Wide Web.
